Tecno Camon C9 live images
In a previous post I wrote about the Tecno Camon C9, I said it might come with a dual front camera setup and a fingerprint scanner however in the live images I'm sharing today, I don't see neither a dual camera nor a finger print scanner.

Also, Tecno has changed their design game as the Tecno Camon C9 is expected to come with a slimmer(7mm to be precise) and premium design.

Going by the Leaked images of the Tecno Camon C9, both the front and back camera us placed in the centre and the front camera is equipped with a wide-range angle shooting meaning you can take of larger groups of people with the front camera.

The Tecno Camon C9 is rumored to come a 13MP front camera and a 13MP back camera with a dedicated camera button by the side.

In one of my most recent posts, I told you guys that Innjoo was planning on releasing new smartphones soon. It seems one of these devices will be Innjoo Halo Plus, an improved version of the Innjoo Halo which was launched last year.

Innjoo halo plus specs
The Innjoo Halo Plus comes with;

  • 1GB RAM
  • 16GB ROM
  • 3600mah Battery
  • 5.5 inch display
  • Android Lollipop 5.1 with smart gestures

Sadly, I don't really know much about this device, that all I could get. However, I promise to keep you informed if I get more info.
From the little I could squeeze out, I could only spot two improvements in the Innjoo Halo Plus which is the battery(from 3200 to 3600mah) and the screen size (from 5 inch to 5.5inch).

Well, I think I love the design of the Innjoo Halo Plus especially the black thingy at the back, it gives it a Nexus 6P feel.

Tecno Launch L8 Plus With Larger RAM

Tecno mobile have recently launched Tecno L8 Plus, the device is an improved version of the recently launched Tecno L8. Those that have used or bought the Tecno L8 can testify that the battery is just...Wow..
I recently played with it(not for long tho') and I've got to say the battery is worth all the hype it got.

Tecno L8 Plus
The Tecno L8 Plus comes with the same specs as the regular Tecno L8: same size(5.5 inches), same 5050 mah battery capacity, same Android version(Lollipop 5.1).
The only area that was improved is the RAM, the Tecno L8 Plus comes with a larger 2GB RAM size unlike the Tecno L8 which came with 1GB RAM.
Tecno L8 specs and price in Nigeria
I wonder who reminded Tecno that 1GB RAM phones are going out of style.

If you like the Tecno L8 and you have N32,500 to spend but you think 1GB RAM is too small for you, you can conveniently get the Tecno L8 Plus and enjoy its massive 5050 mah battery.

Infinix Note2 To Get Marshmallow 6.0 update Soon

Last month, Infinix released an android Marshmallow 6.0 update for Infinix Hot 2, even though a lot of people complain of it having bugs still it was a great move.
In the spirit 'Marshmallowness', Infinix is planning to push Android 6.0 Marshmallow over to the new Infinix Note2.

According to Infinix Mobility, Infinix Note2 users would start getting Android Marshmallow 6.0 Beta updates soon.

The beta test update means that the Marshmallow update won't be immediately available for the public, a few people will first be selected to be beta testers.

These people would test out the Marshmallow update and check for bugs and other anomalies, this is probably meant to prevent what happened with Infinix Hot 2.
If you want, you can also apply to be one of the beta testers for the Infinix Note2 Marshmallow update.
To do this, all you have to do is fill this form here.
Note - To apply to be a beta tester, you need to have the Infinix Note 2 in your possession.

The Infinix Note2 was one of the most anticipated phones of 2015. It was officially launched on Nov 27th but wasn't available for sale until mid December.

How To Make Any Android Device Look Like A Nexus Device

Personally, I think there is no better form of android compared to stock android. Stock android is android in its purest form exactly the way google made it without any 'noticeable' additions just as seen on the infinix hot 2.

Android is a free open-source software and as such allows phone manufacturers to make adjustments to their devices and this results in custom UI which are seen in a lot devices today such as TouchWiz for Samsung devices, XUI for infinix, Sony Xperia's UI and many others.
For some people, these forms of android may seem like a lesser version of android.
If your android device runs a custom OS and you would like to experience a purer version, follow the steps below;

For our experiment, I'll be using the infinix hot note and making changes to it to make it appear stock.

The Hot note started out looking like this.

For The Stock Android Look

This is the most important part of the custom-stock change.
For this, head on to google playstore and install google now launcher. This changes your home screen and app drawer which are the main part of the switch.
When you first install the app, you'll be asked if you want to make the app your default launcher.
Select Google now and choose Always and your phone should now look like stock android.

For Extra Nexus Feel

Most times, android makers include their own camera app so if you would also like to get the stock android camera for your device click here to install it from google playstore. However, you can't replace your default camera with google camera .

Phone And Contacts

You can also head to playstore and install Google dailer app and Google Contacts app.
This isn't really necessary but if you really want to nail the stock Android look I suggest you do it.
The only problem here is that the updated versions of these app only work on Android phones running Android Marshmallow which are very rare. However, if you run android Marshmallow on your device, I really suggest you get these apps.

Finishing Touch

The last thing that's left of your stock android transformation is WALLPAPERS!!!
For that, there are a couple of Marshmallow wallpapers click here to download. It's a zipped file so you have to unzip it with an application like Winzip

After all tweaking, our hot note ended up looking like this.

Oukitel K10000 Battery Lasts 15 Days Of Normal Use

Few months back, there were rumors that Oukitel was making an android device that has a massive 10000mah battery that was supposedly lasts 15 Days under normal usage.

You would agree with me that the battery of a mobile phone is one of the major features it has, a poor battery life can tarnish a nice phone with amazing Specs.

Oukitel K10000 10000mah battery life

Currently, when you think of phones with really large battery, we think of the Infinix Hot Note, Hot Note pro and the new Infinix Note2 which all have 4000mah and also the Gionee Marathon M5 which has an unbelievable 6,250mah but when compared to the oukitel k10000 the battery life of these phones seem really poor.

All these battery juice would be a waste if it doesn't support OTG which it does.
With OTG you can charge other phones with the Oukitel K10000's massive 10000mah battery. According to the maker, the Oukitel K10000 can charge the iPhone 6S fully three times.
This makes it more of a power bank than a smartphone.
With the large battery size of this device, you would expect that it would take forever to charge however, the maker says it takes just three hours thirty minutes to fully charge the Oukitel K10000.

The device has 5.5 inch with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280, it has an RAM size of 2GB and an 8MP back camera and a 2MP front camera with an MTK6735 quadcore processor . Looking beyond the battery size of the Oukitel K10000 every other thing seem to be on average.

The device is currently available for sale on Gearbest for $239.99.
