List Of Devices That Would Run Android Marshmallow 6.0

For months now, we've heard of so much 'Marshmallow 6.0 related' news that we've become impatient and wondering when the OTA updates are starting or if your device would be getting the new Android Marshmallow 6.0 update.

Following the release of the Android OS manufacturers began to release their list of devices that would receive the new OS update.

Samsung started this tradition by releasing it's list of Smartphones that would run the New Android Marshmallow 6.0. The list included;

• Galaxy Note 5
• Galaxy Note 4
• Galaxy Note 4 duos
• Galaxy Note edge
• Galaxy S6 edge+
• Galaxy S6
• Galaxy S6 edge
• Galaxy S6 duos
• Galaxy Alpha
• Galaxy Tab A

Then HTC followed up by also releasing it's own list. According to the list, the following devices would be getting the Android Marshmallow 6.0 update:

• HTC desire 816
• HTC desire 820
• HTC desire 826
• HTC Butterfly 3
• HTC one M8 EYE
• HTC one E8
• HTC one ME
• HTC One E9
• HTC one E9+
• HTC one M9+

Motorola wasn't going to be left out, they also released their list of eligible devices. Yea, I know you might thinking 'Motorola? Really?'especially My fellow Nigerians because we haven't seen or heard of a Motorola device since the times of 'Oju Opolo', that Motorola phone that had a round face that's if y'all still remember it, I know I do,that was the phone that introduced most of us to playing Soccer on mobile phones. The list of Motorola devices that would be receiving the Android Marshmallow 6.0 update include;

• 2015 Moto X play
• 2015 Moto G (3rd gen)
• 2015 Moto X style(3rd gen)
• 2015 Moto X pure edition(3rd gen
• Droid Turbo
• 2014 Moto X pure edition in the US(2nd gen)
• Moto X in Latin America, Europe and Asia(2nd Gen)
• 2014 Moto G and Moto G with 4G LTE(2nd Gen)
• 2014 Moto MAXX
• Moto Turbo
• And of course the Nexus 6

A new list has been Leaked, this new list has been flying around so I just want to share it with you guys.

If you look at this new list closely, you would notice that some Android devices that were not released in the earlier list released by OEM was actually included like the Samsung Galaxy S5. If you look at it again you would see that 'Chinese' manufacturers dominated the list. I never thought Elephone would make the list, even though it's at the bottom of the list that's really amazing.
