Not many people know that how you charge your smartphones battery affects it on the long run. If you charge it wrongly, you are likely to notice a drop in its performance.

Charging your smartphone in the wrong way could result in charging for long hours and getting only minutes of usage.... It can be that bad, that's why you need to take care of your battery by charging your phone in the right way.

The following charging practices can damage your battery;

Charging Overnight:- This particular practice have raised a lot of arguments, some people believe it doesn't affect your battery health and some say it does.
It is 'unwise' to charge your phone through the night. Regularly charging your phone overnight puts a strain on your battery and this degrades the battery.

Charging From 0 - 100% At Once:- This is one thing that almost everybody is guilty of. You have a dead phone, 'NEPA' bring light and you immediately plug your phone in and leave it there till it reaches 100%. Even though this seems harmless, charging for long periods of time damages your battery.

Completely Draining Your Battery:-To get the most out of your battery, you should try to keep it above of 50 percent as much as possible. Going from a full charge to empty is really bad for your battery. It's advisable to do one full discharge about once a month for "calibration," but don't do it all the time.

Using Wireless Chargers:- Wireless charging can be really convenient, but it has its disadvantages. Wireless chargers generate waste heat. And wasted energy heat can really damage your battery. Standard plug-in charging keep your battery in better shape.

I have seen and heard of a lot of people complain that when they bought their phones, the batteries lasted long but over time it begins to degrade. Doing these things are what causes it, so try as much as possible to avoid doing them.
