BlackBerry has announced that it is making its Hub software available for all Android devices running Android 6.0 Marshmallow or newer.
What is blackberry Hub? Blackberry Hub is a suite which combines your messaging, email, social networking, and other accounts together into one dashboard.
The Hub software was previously only available on Blackberry 10 devices and Blackberry Android devices such as the Blackberry Priv or the recently released DTEK50.
The Hub is known as Blackberry Hub+ in Google's Play Store and it is available to use for free for 30 days. After the 30-day free trial period, you can continue using the hub for free with ads or pay a subscription fee of $0.99 per month for an ad-free experience.
The free version of the app includes the Hub itself, a password manager and Blackberry Calendar. However if you pay the $0.99 subscription fee, you will also get access to BlackBerry's Contacts, Device Search, Tasks, Notes, and Blackberry Launcher. Users of Blackberry Android devices like Priv and DTEK 50 do not have to pay for this, they get all the services for free.
Blackberry said this is the first software service from its new Mobility Solutions Group and that more are coming.
The company also says that it is currently working to make the Hub+ suite available for Android Lollipop devices, as well.
If you run Android 6.0 Marshmallow on your Android device, you can download the Blackberry Hub+ here.
