How To Borrow Data On MTN XtraByte

1. Dial *606#
2. Reply with 3 to request for Xtrabyte
3. Select the amount of data you want to borrow.

Note:

• MTN will deduct from your next recharge to pay for the borrowed data same way Xtratime works.
• You can borrow data, even though you are yet to pay back your loaned Airtime from MTN.
• You cannot borrow Data or Airtime multiple times that is borrowing again without paying for the previous debt.
• You can borrow 10MB, 30MB, 100MB, 200MB, and 750MB. 
• The borrowed data can not be transferred to another line.
• To check your Xtrabyte balance, dial *606#
• The data you borrowed has the same expiry date as your normal data bundle.
• MTN will charge you 10% extra on data you are borrowing.
