See The Size Of A 5MB Hard Drive In 1956

Technology advancement is an important part of civilization itself.
Before I continue with this post, ask you yourself "Can you survive if your phone had a storage space of 5MB?"

Back in September 1956, IBM launched the 305 RAMAC, the first ‘SUPER’ computer with a hard disk drive (HDD). The HDD weighed over a ton and stored a whooping 5 MB of data.

The 5MB hard drive wasn't even available for sale, companies could only rent it at $3,200/month which is around $30,000 right now.

The hard disk drive had to be moved with a fork lift.

Today, you can get hard disks as large as 2TB that can easily fit into your back pocket and cost less than $100.

Nosa of TechRez once wrote an article condemning 16GB variant iPhones saying 'they should die'. I wonder what he would have said if he was around back then.

If this much has changed in just fifty years, how would Technology be like in the next 100 years?
Humans would probably be flying by then.
