Duo is the latest video calling app by Google. In the previous post I wrote about it, I said it was almost ready and would be launched a few days later.

How to Video Call With Duo
Making a video call with Duo is real easy, even my two-year old niece can do it.
All you have to do is;
  • Tap the blue Video Call button on the screen.
  • Select the person you'd like to video call from your contact list or type in a number you'd like to call(you don't need to have the person on your contact list).
  • To end the video call, tap the red button on your screen.
How to use Google Duo Video Calling App

You can go to Google Duo settings by clicking the three-dot button at the top-left corner of Duo main screen.

If you don't want the people you call to see you before they pick the call, you can turn off knock knock by sliding the toggle.

Google Duo is set to limit mobile data usage by default, this reduces the video quality when you're not using a Wi-Fi connection. If you want full video quality all you have to do is turn off 'Limit mobile data'

Go ahead and have fun video calling with Google Duo.
