The Rivalry Continues: Samsung Throws Shade At Apple

Over the years there's been a lot of dissing between this two companies as they keep releasing ads and making remarks intended to degrade the other. Around this time last year Samsung ran a campaign where they sticked posters around wall-sockets at airports, the posters read Samsung Galaxy S5 with Ultra Power Saving Mode. So you can be anywhere but here.

The decals were meant to draw the attention of users (especially iPhone users) to the Samsung Galaxy S5, telling them that if they were using it they probably wouldn't be tied to a wall socket charging their phones.

Before that, Phil Schiller the second most powerful executive at Apple openly attacked the Android OS(but mostly aimed at Samsung), according to him the number of versions of the Android Operating System available are a problem, he went on to say that majority of Android users were stuck on an older version of the software and that Samsung's Galaxy S4 may itself be introduced with an older version and would need updating(This was back in 2013).

Fast forward to present time, On Wednesday night while the new iPhone 6S and 6S plus launchedand the whole world was stand still and eyes and ears were itching for every little detail about the new devices. Samsung decided to use a smooth tactic.

Samsung, knowing that almost everyone would be logged in on the Internet and earnestly searching Google for any and every information from the grand Apple announcement decided to make use of the opportunity to do a really clever Search Engine Marketing.

While the whole world was searching for the new iPhone 6S, this was what happened.

When you searched for 'iPhone 6S' on Google the first result that came up was not in any way related to Apple rather it was a Samsung Ad!

A lot people noticed this smart move by Samsung, Some applauded the excellent use of Ad words while some regarded it as cheap tactic.
Apple also noticed this and they weren't going to allow Samsung have a bite of 'the Apple' (I mean, we're still searching for who took the first bite!)

A day after, Samsung uploaded a video on YouTube, showing off a feature the iPhone doesn't have.
The video Titled 'It's not a phone it's a Galaxy focuses on the one feature of the Samsung S6 and Galaxy Note 5 that you can't find on an iPhone which is Wireless Charging.

The video was released a day after the launch of the iPhone 6S and 6S plus probably to try to steal the shine of them again.

Watch the video and tell me how many times the iPhone 6 plus was shown. And to make the attack direct, Samsung made sure they showed the Apple Logo behind the phone.

Watch the video below and tell me what you think!
