Samsung Skips Note 6 - Set To Launch Galaxy Note 7

Top Android phone maker, Samsung is rumored to be skipping the really anticipated Galaxy Note 6 and heading straight to launch the Galaxy Note 7. They are said to have opted for the name to avoid negative perception of its upcoming phablet.

According to reports, Samsung is concerned that might think the Note 6 is an outdated device because it was one number behind this year's flagships Galaxy S7 and S7 EDGE. Due to this, Samsung is going one year ahead and calling this year's Note the galaxy Note 7 instead of the galaxy Note 6.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will likely come with 6GB RAM, dual-edged display and dual camera, Iris Scanner a 4000mah battery and would be powered by a snapdragon 823 chipset. However, none of these have been officially confirmed by Samsung so remember to take it with a grain of salt. What I do know is that the Galaxy Note 6 or Galaxy Note 7 would be launched sometime in August 2016.
