After waiting for several months for MTN to finally launch their 4G LTE services Nigeria, it is finally live for everyone to use.

How To Know if Your Smartphone is Compatible With MTN 4G Network?
MTN 4G LTE network currently runs on Band 7(2600mHz) and they’ve made it even easier for subscribers to confirm if your Sim card and Smartphone supports their 4G services.
To check if your Sim and smartphone support MTN 4G LTE network, simply Text 4G to 131.
If your device is eligible for MTN 4G LTE Service, you should get a message saying:
"Yello! Your device is 4G ready but you need to upgrade your SIM to enjoy MTN 4G LTE. Please visit the nearest MTN store or partner retailer for a SIM swap now...."
If your phone is compatible with the 4G network, simply walk into to any MTN service center close to you and do a sim swap to 4G compatible sim.
And if it isn't....Throw that phone across Third Mainland Bridge and get a 4G enabled device..Lol
