NCC Fine Innjoo N4 million For Selling Unapproved Smartphones

Last year, the NCC shut down Innjoo office at Ikeja for selling Unapproved, substandard smartphones. I guess Innjoo didn't learn its lesson from the previous encounter with NCC as the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has come for them again and this time with a N4 million fine.

The Innjoo fire is one of the smartphones with the most complains as almost every user of the device have one problem or the other. And even some of their Flagship like the Innjoo 2 has problems too. Innjoo just needs to go!

Earlier this week, NCC raided Innjoo office in Trinity Mall, Ikeja, Lagos for selling unauthorized mobile phones to the public and slammed them a fine of N4Million.
According to NCC, the kind of smartphones InnJoo Mobile sells to the public will hinder network quality.

Their office was sealed AGAIN!… but InnJoo responded very fast and paid the N4Million.

A lot of Innjoo users have complained bitterly on InnJoo Mobile Facebook, for not having InnJoo accessories here in Nigeria.

Back when they Innjoo just came to Nigeria, they had one of the biggest opportunities to take over the Nigerian market phone industry but, they didn't offer good value for money. Nobody in his right mind would buy a phone that will develop problems in the coming weeks or months and because of that, they lost their chance of survival in Nigeria.

Personally, I think the N4 million fine is a bit too small to teach Innjoo the lesson it needs to learn. NCC fined MTN N1.04 Trillion simply for not deactivating Sim cards with incomplete details so I think the fine for selling bad smartphones should be higher.
